In 2024, 327 scholarships were awarded for a total of $721,000!
973 complete applications were considered for scholarships by more than 40 donor organizations.
That is the power of our program: By completing a single application at the automotivescholarships.com website, students can be considered for multiple scholarships.
43% of applicants received a scholarship
10% of winners received multiple scholarships
Many donors favor students planning to become technicians. 70% of 2024 recipients are training to be technicians. That includes 48% in automotive mechanical programs, 8% in collision repair programs, and 14% in diesel and heavy-duty programs. 9% are attending 4-year colleges and universities majoring in a business management field, and 5% are attending 4-year programs in engineering. 9% of recipients are majoring in other fields.
The auto care industry needs leaders in all of these fields to be successful in the future!
After more than twenty-five years of this scholarship program, more than 6,500 students have been awarded scholarships totaling more than $6 million.
Each application will be reviewed by every organization where the student meets their qualifications. Links to all organizations and donors are on the scholarship page, and each goes to a page with details of their awards and eligibility requirements. Please read all of these pages so that you can include information each organization requires. Make sure you qualify for as many awards as possible.
I urge all industry professionals to promote this one-stop site for students planning to pursue careers in the Auto Care industry. Scholarships are available for two-year technical & vocational programs, as well as four-year college degrees.
These scholarships will help students get their automotive careers started on the right track.
Automotive scholarships are funded through donations from the University of the Aftermarket Foundation and many other contributors. For more information, see the University of the Aftermarket Foundation website and the list of donor organizations on our scholarships page. We are very grateful for all collaborating automotive organizations.
