Automotive Communication Council

The Automotive Communication Council (ACC) is a professional organization of individuals in the automotive aftermarket who specialize in marketing communications.

Priority will be given to students at a 2 or 4-year colleges with a course of study in marketing, public relations, journalism, advertising or a related field in the aftermarket. The scholarship amount will be $2500.00

Founded in 1941, the ACC is the oldest continuously operating council in the aftermarket. Membership is open to individuals who are employed or have an interest in the automotive aftermarket. ACC provides a networking forum for the exchange of ideas, information and resources about issues, challenges and trends impacting companies and organizations throughout the aftermarket industry.

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant should be: 

  • Qualified applicants should be either a graduating high school senior or have graduated from high school within the past two years. An exception to the two-year requirement will be made for military or religious service. 
  • Applicants should be enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college-level program. 
  • Graduate programs and undergraduate part-time programs do not qualify. 
  • Priority is given to students who plan a professional career in the automotive aftermarket.
